It is one of the most common dragonflies in Europe, occurring in a wide variety of water bodies, though with a preference for breeding in still water such as ponds and lakes. In the south of its range adults are on the wing all year round.
Here in Granada we do not see them in winter time. This one is a young female, the first few hours or two days, they have this special color.

Hallo Jose,
you have captured this dragonfly in a very nice way.
It's sharp wirt a fine DOF almost the entire insect is in good focus and the BG is nicely blurred.
I like the nice soft colours.
