The Holly Blue (Celastrina argiolus), is a butterfly that belongs to the Lycaenids or Blues family and is native to Eurasia. In India, it is known as the Hill Hedge Blue .
The butterfly was earlier known as Lycaenopsis argiolus Woodmason.
It is found in Eurasia. In South Asia, it occurs from Chitral in Pakistan to Kumaon in India

Celastrina argiolus (Linnaeus 1758) Piccolo argus
Ali anteriori 13-17 mm
Descrizione
Biologia

Hello Luciano!
A fine shot of this white butterfly sitting on an attractive bunch of pink flowers. Antennae are down which is showing it is fully busy in feeding on these little flowers. I see few problems in your shot, white seems a wee bit overexposed but it is not at all distracting, shot is a bit noisier and left side of wing has few curls at the edges indicating inappropriate cloning. Hope you wont mind me sharing my observations,
Best Regards,
AKBAR

Hallo Luciano
I really like this image as both the subjects, the butterfly and the flower is beautiful and well captured. Details of the paws, the big eye and the zebra striped antennas is really seen with great clarity. I do however find noise in the background that is somewhat distracting, but it cannot take away the fact that you captured a beautiful butterfly. Best regards and thanks for sharing.

Bonjour Luciano,
Anne
