[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had captured this picture in Satara, Kruger National Park, South Africa.

After roaming about through out the day, when we were returning in our camp, we stopped several times in Satara, as well as Lower Sabie. Unfortunately my Nikon DSLR's battery was flat, so used my Canon compact one for this shot.

It was a nice atmosphere. I just tried to present the exact atmosphere what I watched there at the time of Sunset. Light was very very low and used very low shutter speed to capture this picture.

Srikumar,
Despite your change of cameras to a "compact" sized Canon you did quite well.
The sunset light on the grasses shows well.
The creature looks so happy within its world.
A GREAT CAPTURE!!!
Greetings from Mario.

Hi Sri,
Even with a compact, a perfect shot composition-wise, and lights / colors are very interesting also. I don't know if you used shadows/highlights tool of Photoshop or this was the original color gamut, but the image has its own atmosphere. Fantastic photo. Bravo!
Best regards, László

Hello Srikumar,
Should not know why you can't use your Nikon in this kind of situations. Now the photo is a bit flat, I mean it misses a bit of sharpness. The atmosphere is great, the colours are beautiful and the composition is very good.
Regards,
Peter

Hello Sri,
Another nice one from your trip to SAfrica. This kind of pictures remind me the ones of George, but you have your own way to present them. I like these fine and harmonious earth-tints and a well chosen composition.
Kind regards
Anne
