This photo was taken at the Birding Center in Port Aransas, we have had a couple of cold fronts come through, so I was glad to get this shot as they are on their way farther south.

Bienvenida a TN Daisy.

Welcome to TN Daisy.
Beautiful first presentation with very pretty colors and wonderful presence of the small the humming bird in flight.
Excellent sharpness with good perspective.
Personally it had chosen a somewhat smaller frame.
Remember to include the values of exposure when entering the data of the image.
I made a Workshop, with a different frame...I hope pleases to you.

tres belle composition, l'intensité des couleurs est tres bonne, le flou des ailes de l'oiseau renforce vraiment le mouvement de l'oiseau, le tout est vraiment bien cadré.
nice done.

Welcome Daisy, This is a grand composition. The colours and details are very nice. I do think Ricardo has a point with a smaller crop. Some more info in your note would be usefull, have a look at some notes others post. You'll get the idea. Thanx for sharing.

This has the potential to be a fine image, but the first thing I see wrong with it is the hummer is placed directly in the middle of the photo. I would like to see it off center as this is more important to me than cropping it in closer. Closer would be nice, but not essential in my book. The lighting is even, but I would bump up the levels or curves to brighten it up a little. The colors in this image are superb abd your focus nailed the hummer perfectly. If I was to crop it I would probably still keep it in landscape orientation and not change it to portrait.

Now after all that...welcome to TN, Daisy. This is a fine first image to introduce yourself and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Beautiful first shot. I like better with Ricardo´s WS but if I has the full res one to see in big format, yours would be lovely. Welcome, hope to see more photos and critiques soon.

Hello Daisy and welcome on TN.

Very nice first post and sure you were very lucky to get this capture - it is not an esy one to take. The colours are very nice as well as the dof but I have to agree with Lesley about the composition. It would be nice to have the hummingbird out of the centre. Therefore I dared to make a WS to show you what I mean - hope it is OK.
