Hello friends, today January 1,
from Facebook I learned that it is :
« International Squirrel Admiration Day ».

So I want to share this photo with you !

1/2000s f/5.6 ISO1600 85mm (35mm eq:127mm) .

« In Canada, most female eastern grey squirrels have
a single litter in April, following a breeding season
in late February and early March and a gestation of
around 44 days. Most litters contain two to three young.

If the weather is favourable and there seems to be
enough food, some females will produce a second litter
in late July, although it is uncommon in colder parts of Canada. »

WOW!!! splendid shot of this grey squirrel in mid air. Spot on focus, sharpness and details.
Thanks for the share Asbed,

Hi Asbed,
A very fine picture with sharp details in the fur, you manged rather well with composition too.
Even if Nikkor 85mm F1,8 is one of sharpest lenses it's a bit short for this kind of pictures.
But you handle and managed more than well, it would be great to see longer lens i your hands :-)
Well done, my friend.

salut Asbed
Superbe image trčs dynamique, avec des couleurs trčs harmonieuses.
Bonne approche vu l'objectif utilisé.

Superbe capture,bravo

Hi Asbed,
Most of the technical details like shutter speed, sharpness etc. are absolutely perfect, however, I'm not fully satisfied with the central composition, and the busy background isn't blurred enough either. In my opinion a different crop may help to make the whole image more spectacular.
Best regards, László

Bonjour Asbed,

La critique en francais a disparu. The squirrel is well framed. You have captured well the action of the animal. The point of view is showing the detail and colors of the squirrel. The light has a good effcet on the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Asbed, Great capture with good details too. Would be much more interesting if the jump of the squirrel was more aggressive. Best regards
