Xylococcus bicolor (Mission Manzanita) is an evergreen shrub of S California and Baja California. It is part of low altitude Chaparral. It resembples other manzanitas, but has bi-facial leaves and rolled leaf edge.

Hello Ori,
A wonderful image showing the bloom, fruit and leaves of this unique little shrub. It's tiny flowers are shaped similar to the flowers on a blueberry bush. Outstanding detail, beautiful colors and perfect exposure. I understand this particular plant grows in very limited areas of the coastal region. TFS.
