[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture of a Large Cabbage White is from my archive of last year. These butterflies are the first to get active in April.
PS: The exact ID of this Indian species stands revised, thanks to the input from our erudite friend Luciano.

The Indian cabbage white (Pieris canidia) is a butterfly in the family Pieridae. Pieris rapae is one of the closest species in the pieridae family.

Distribution

Sub-Himalayan India and Pakistan from Chitral, Kashmir to Sikkim and Bhutan, from 2000 to 11,000 ft (3,400 m). elevation ; the hills of Southern India; Assam; Upper Myanmar: the Shan States; extending to China.

Delicate composition, with BG dark, dotted with orange spots, then dazzle with this beautiful Pieris brassicae, occupying the right side of the box.
Great job, Ram !!!
