[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo is not of the best ... But I decided to post it to show you how powerfull was the speed of the wind that day...The movement of the reed left only a slit through which I shoot this picture.

The great reed warbler (Acrocephalus arundinaceus) is a Eurasian passerine in the genus Acrocephalus. It used to be placed in the Old World warbler assemblage, but is now recognized as part of the marsh and tree-warbler family (Acrocephalidae). A. arundinaceus are medium-sized birds and are the largest of the European warblers. They breed throughout mainland Europe and Asia and migrate to sub-Saharan Africa in the winter. Great reed warblers favor reed beds as their habitat during breeding months, while living in reed beds, bush thickets, rice fields, and forest clearings during the winter. Great reed warblers exhibit relatively low sexual dimorphism, and both genders of the species are similar in appearance. This species mates both polygynously and monogamously.

HI Marius,is not the best just talking about the colors,it seems a bit undersaturated. But the DOF on the warbler is excellent and obviuosly the details,i like the soft sharpness around the bird too.Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Not a good picture because part of the tail is hidden?
To me it is an extremely nice picture.
The background matches the bird perfectly.
Very lovely atmosphere.

Hello Marius,
I really like your Great Reed Warbler as it perches on the diagonal reed. The focus is tac sharp, therefore I would never have guessed that it was an extremely windy day. Captured in it's natural habitat and displaying good detail. The colors could be a tad more saturated, but still a beauty of a shot. Well done!!
