[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have captured this Three Rondavels Photograph in Blyde River Canyon area, Mpumalanga, South Africa.

* The Three Rondavels are an ancient geological wonder located in South Africa's Blyde River Canyon region.

* The trio portly peaks are shaped like traditional beehive huts, with gently sloping walls and domed summits. Also known as the Three Sisters, they serve as reminders of the native hut housing structures called Rondavels.

* The Three Robdavels rock formations consist of QUARTZITE and SHALE.

* Three Rondavels sometime referred to as the "Chief Troublesome wives".

* The flat-topped peak was named Mapjaneng(the chief), after a legendary Bapedi Chief, Marepi Mashila who defeated invading Swazis in a great battle, whilst the peaks are named after his three wives - Magabilie, Migoladikwe and Maseroto.

* Three Rondavels tower approximately 2296 feet over the surrounding countryside.

Hi Sri,
If I remember well (correct me if being wrong) this rock trio already featured on one of your photos - at least it seems a little familiar to me. Awesome formation, and the photo's simply gorgeous, with a fantastic 3-layered composition (foreground, main subject, sky). Lights are also beautiful, as well as technical details like sharpness and colors. Magnificent image, one of the most spectacular posts of the weekend. Bravo!
Best regards, László

Hello Srikumar,
Pin sharp photo with nice natural colors and excellent details. I like this excellent capture with such natural colors, taken from a very good POV. Excellent contrast.
Marius.

Hello Srikumar

Your POV being by higher and the large framing to show the entire landscape scenery
it is giving another dimension to the photo and the contrast between the sky's cold
and the ground's warm color tones it is participating to that effect, TFS
