[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had captured this picture at Nsemani Dam in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
When we(me and my wife) were returning Orpen from Satara, we stopped here and saw so many Hippos were resting.

Nsemani Dam is situated just 10 km from Satara if you follow H7. There are two other roads also meet H7 from Timbavati; S40 which is divided into S12 and S40.

Nsemani Dam is a large dam where there are often Hippos, Waterbucks, Giraffe, Baboons and Crocodiles as well as numerous water birds.

Where is the Crocodile in this Photograph? Also two Turtles are in this frame. Try to find if you can.

Hi Srikumar,

Nice vieuw of the corner with all this Hippos, beautiful colors and light.
I wonder if this is not the corner or documentary seen when the animals cross the river. And that crocodiles feast this.
Thank you for sharing
My best regards.

Hello Srikumar,
How neat it must be to see hippos living in their natural habitat. The largest animals we have here in Ohio are White-tailed Deer which can not even come close to the size of these large creatures.
You have done a remarkable job of photographing them in perfect clarity and exposure. The lighting has a warm look to it as though this shot was taken either early morning or late afternoon.
The Crock is on the bank in the middle of the frame by the tree branches. The turtles are on the rounded bank to the left of the branches and well out of the reach of the Crock. Well done!!

Hello Srikumar,
Another interesting and excellent quality image with AFRICA.
Splendid image with this Hippos resting.

Bonjour Srikumar,
C'est une très belle image restituant, dans une belle lumière, un paisible paysage... et pourtant ne nous y trompons pas ces animaux peuvent-être redoutables !!!
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

Hello Srikumar,
In this summer your this photo giving cool feeling. When I looked at it I feel like that.

Hi Srikumar,
nice still life with hippos..! quite and beautiful - Thanks for showing

Hi Srikumar,

The wideness of the area is giving depth to the scene. The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. Thepoint of view is showing the details of the hippos. The good luminosity is giving nice tints to the colors. Have a nice day.
