[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Trekkers,

I was absent from TN in the past few weeks. And will be absent a little more from the next weekend again, as I again travel to Hungary to my FAMILY - and who can finally follow me in September to Ireland. This is what I try to symbolize with this picture.

The species on the photo is the Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria (L.) Lam.), a cosmopolitan species, and without doubt the most common fungus on the pages of TN.

Photo: taken in a spruce (Picea abies) forest in the autumn of 2012, manual exposure mode, handheld. PP: adjusting levels, colors and saturation, after re-sizing slight selective sharpening.

Thanks for looking at this metaphoric image.

Hello Laszlo,
What a beautiful group of fungi you have chosen to represent your family as you vacation together in Ireland. The Amanita comes in an array of colorful hues and these bright red ones are simply gorgeous. I like the way you have composed the shot, keeping the prominent one to the right sharply focused while the rest of the group is slightly OOF. Excellent detail and perfect exposure. Colors are well saturated yet natural. Well done!!
PS. Hope you have a great time in Hungry as well as Ireland.

Hello Laszlo,
I am impressed by the magnificent sharpness and details of this photo. The composition is wonderful. Very nice colors and outstanding clarity. It is a superb capture.

Bonjour Laszlo,
Une très belle publication bien composée dans une lumière bien maitrisée et sous une excellente profondeur de champ.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

Hello Laszlo,
Have a nice journey my friend. Wish you good time with family.

Beautiful fungi. Nice color and very good details. Here I would like to clone the branches out from BG; mainly horizontal branch. It's taking my concentration to cherish the beauty.

Hi Laszlo, your mushrooms pics are always a spectacle and a great pleausure to watch. The specie is quite common but it's one of the most beautiful and dangerous.I like your choice of the this decentralized compostion with the DOF on the right,to have a colorful blurred background too made by the others amanitas,i like it! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
