Junonia orithya is a nymphalid butterfly with many sub-species occurring from Africa through southern and south-eastern Asia and in Australia. In India its common English name is the blue pansy, but in southern Africa it is known as the eyed pansy as the name blue pansy refers to Junonia oenone. In Australia this butterfly is known as the blue argus.

Hello Ram,
What a pretty butterfly this one is! Lovely pov and nice soft colors. Looks great against the blue background.
Regards Sigi

Magnificent combination of dark blue and bright orange. Sharpness is excellent.
The background is a bit busy. Maybe cropping the extreme right of the photo an the top bud would move the flower+butterfly a more off-centre.

hallo Ram
beautiful coloured picture with good sharpness and nice details
thanks gr lou

Hello Ram

With the POV you choose and the way you framed,
and with the great contrast of the color tones
of the butterfly over its flower, are contributing
to the beauty of this photo, TFS
