[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here it's raining and sky most of the time covered by Cumulonimbus clouds. They are creating different type of shape. Here it is what I captured. Imagine the shape........

* Cumulonimbus, from the Latin 'Cumulus' (Heap) and ' Nimbus' (Rain storm/Storm cloud), is a dense towering vertical cloud associated with the thunderstorms and atmospheric instability, forming from water vapor carried by powerful upward air currents. This cloud can form alone, in clusters or along cold front squall lunes. This clouds are capable of producing lightning and other dangerous severe weather, such ad Tornados.

* The warm moist air rises and cools, eventually condensing into a Cumulus Cloud. As condensation occurs it warms the air, keeping the air inside the cloud warmer than the air around it. This keeps the air unstable and allows the cloud to keep growing vertically. During this stage, updrafts keep the water droplets and ice crystal suspended in the cloud. As the cloud builds the altitudes where the temperature is below freezing large rain drops or even small heil begin to form. Eventually the raindrops and small heil become heavy enough that the updraft can not keep them suspended in the cloud and they begin to fall as precipitation. These falling particles, and evaporation and cooling of air near the cloud boundaries, creates a downdraft.

* During this stage updraft and downdrafts are present and the and thunderstorms is at its most instance state. The cloud grows so high, spreads out and forms an anvil shape. Lightning, thunder, heavy rain and possible small hell are produced during this stage.

Hello Srikumar,
An interesting cloud formation. Beautiful colors and perfect contrast.

Very impressive view of these powerful clouds. Have you ever looked at the famous series of "equivalents" - cloud photographs by Alfred Stieglitz?

See examples at : http://www.phillipscollection.org/research/american_art/artwork/Stieglitz-Equivalent_Series1.htm
