Dwarf Cows in Little Prespa lake
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Prespa Dwarf Cow, living in and around Little and Great Prespa lakes, mostly in Albania and Greece, is known for its longevity as it is resistant to diseases and has minimal nutritional requirements.
Small numbers of them exist now and the Society for the Protection of Prespa has been working closely with the Swiss SAVE Foundation trying to rescue the Dwarf Prespa cow breed in the region.
Photo shot in the small Agios Achillios island in Little Prespa lake and processed in Photoshop. |

If these are domestic cattle, you cannot post their picture here on TN, Theo. Please check.
Interesting to learn about this unusual mammal. However, the picture itself is not very successful, since the white cows overlap and look like one beast with two heads and more than four legs. Perhaps you have a different shot you can post?
