[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Jug Orchid (Pterostylis recurva) is the tallest of the West Australian Greenhood orchids. I have been waiting patiently for 2 weeks now but the cold nights seem to impair the flowers from fully opening. Will post when this happens.
A common terrestrial orchid from the SW of WA.
This is the 12th species of terrestrial orchids (11 natives, 1 introduced) that I have found growing naturally on my 5 acre block in the past 15 years.
