Hello Ishi,
This probably the most colorful dragonfly I have ever seen. Definitely a new species for me and shown in excellent detail. I love the lavender colors on it's upper body which turn into red and slowly blends into an orange rear end. The dark amber wing markings near it's body are quite the eye pleaser. The colorful reddish tinted wings finish off an awesome looking specimen. Perfect exposure and wonderful DOF.

I had the opportunity to shoot this dragonfly only once during my stay of 5 years in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Ishi.
Your macro image of it is pin sharp with an impressive DOF. The typical colours on it are also well captured.
Thanks.
Ram

Hello Ishi,

I like the color of this dragonfly. I like its BG too. But personally I don't like where it was resting, although it wasn't in your hand. Well details and sharpness.
Thanks for sharing,
