You have to like the common name of this Melaleuca conothamnoides! A very good description for such a magnificent flower.
A small bush from the wheatbelt north of Perth.
The Melaleucas are members of the Eucalypt family and also include the better known Paperbark trees.
I held a small LED light near the flower to highlight the pollen at the end of the anthers.

A gorgeous shot of this colorful flower. Wonderful idea to use the led light to brighten up the tiny bits of pollen. Sharply focused and shown in an attractive vertical composition. Great work!!
