[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had captured this Red-Billed Hornbill in Orpen, Kruger National Park. It was in the camping area and sunlight was harsh. It was an uneven ground where I was lying to take a eye level shot. I had to wait long, but at last I captured.

Red-Billed Hornbill is a group if hornbills found in Savanna and woodland of Sub-Saharan Africa. They have white head and underparts, upperparts are grey and they have long and curved bill.
They are Omnivorous and mainly take insects, fruits and seeds. They are large, generally 42cm. Sexes are similar but females have smaller bill.

Hello Srikumar,
Beautiful photo taken from an ideal low POV. Excellent sharpness, details and fine natural colours. When I was in a camping area in Kruger NP there were dozens of these birds together hoping to get a piece of bread.

A very strange bird, not mothers finest but a great picture Srikumar.
Good eye contact ,sharp with fine colors.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sri,
Although the angle is a little too frontal, I'm amazed by the beautiful moirée effect on the plumage. Good sharpness and fabulous depth of field. Nice shot, it was worth the wait.
Kind regards, László

Hi Srikumar
This bird is rare and unknown for me. It seems to be angry.

Hello Srikumar.
Wow, what an impressive looking bird this Red Billed Hornbill. The low view creates an excellent composition. Lighting and colours are great too. He's really a very unique looking bird.
