|The Grizzly Bear, also known as a Brown Bear. |
Bears are omnivores eating both vegetation and wild game. This bear has both a transmitter and ear tag and found out she is about 3 years old. I phone in to find out more about her. She was thin coming out of hibernations but that's natural when you haven't eaten in awhile.
Grizzly bears can live up to 25 years in the wild. Female bears can weight up to 200 kg and Males 270 kg.
Hand held from the safety of my vehicle and bear spray close at hand.

Hi Janice, what a lucky meeting,a bit dangerous but really great to take a grizzly in its habitat, the quality is absolutely high despite the distance and handled capture,i like the exposure of the lights too.Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
Wow! What a shot. Excellent lighting and POV. I can only imagine your heartBEAT when she came into view.
Hi, Janice. This is an excellent portrait of the grizzly bear with excellent clarity and lighting which helps to define the texture of his hairs. I like his brown eyes gazing at some object and he seems to be munching on some weeds. Thanks for sharing.
