[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Over 300 injuries, some possible deaths... Japan experience the storm of the years. A snow storm hit, especially the northern parts of the country where exactly we are! It was impossible to move in the morning even some steps just out of the hotel so we stayed till midday at the hotel. Afternoon, despite of still heavy storm outside, we decided to move on to see the islands one of the most special bird. The national bird of Japan, Red-crowned cranes, an endangered species and only 1650 left in the wild. It was one of the most worst blizzard out there we experienced but managed to survive till we got them in a field while the snow was less heavy. I will upload some of the storm videos to my instagram account. To follow: https://www.instagram.com/birddetective/ |
