[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had captured this photographs of 'Crested Francolin' at Orpen, Kruger National Park. It was the camping area, so I had no problem to keep my chest on the ground.
The Crested Francolin (Dendroperdix sephaena)is a species of bird in the Phasianidae family. It is found in Angola, Botswana, Kongo, Ethiopian, Kenya, Namibia, Uganda, South Africa etc.
They are mostly ground bird, so it's a difficult bird to me to get a decent POV.

Hello Srikumar,
Excellent photo of this Crested Francolin. Superb sharpness, details and a very good DOF. Beautiful natural colors. The low POV is ideal.

Hello Srikumar,
Excellent capture. Nice specie with lovely colors. Outstanding clarity and focus. Spring is coming soon here in Europe I think because the weather is incredible warm with temperature 10-18 degree Celsius.

Hello Srikumar

Great photo of the Crested Francolin shot at his foot movement
giving dynamism to the image, beautiful warm light,
excellent focus, sharpness, and details, TFS

Hello Srikumar
Well done on the POV, I know how hard it can be getting this type of shot. You captured the Crested Francolin nicely in bright daylight which shows off his interesting plumage. Excellent detail and DOF.

Hello Srikumar,
It may have been difficult, but your lying on the ground made all the difference in capturing this lovely bird in such a unique and attractive low POV. Reminds me somewhat of the quail that used to roam the fields of Ohio when I was just a boy, but have since vanished.
A beautiful species with gorgeous markings and such an array of pretty earth toned colors. Great work!!

Hola Srikumar, hermosa especie y foto, muy bueno el manejo de la luz, color y entorno donde vemos al ave en ua axión cotidiana...saludos.

Muted colours despite the strong sun, excellent sharpness, nice blurred background, perfect composition low to the ground.

Hi Srikumar,

The bird is well placed in the frameé. The point of view is showing the details of the Crested Francolin. The good luminosity is giving nice tints to the colors. Have a nice day.
