One of the most memorable moments for me on my trip to Israel was getting to see the sun set over the Sea of Galilee. The inn we stayed at provided to us a great look at this breathtaking sight.

The Sea of Galilee is the lowest fresh water lake on earth. It is approximately 13 miles long and 8.1 mile wide with a total area of 64.4 sq. miles. It is fed by underground streams with it's main source of supply being the Jordan River.

I will never forget the boat ride we took on this amazing body of water!!

Me much interested in instrument and the f/ number and shutter speed, for maximum depth f/ needed to be high and for freezing the shutter speed, nice catch.

hello Ron,
Something mystical about this shot, not amazing if I read that this is the Sea of Galilee!
Have a nice weekend
Anne

Hi Ron,

The wideness of the sea is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the mountains in the shadow. The sunset is giving nice colors to the sky. Have a nice day.

Hi Ron,
Magic capture, beautiful off-centered composition with perfect colors and just the right exposure, the silhouettes in the foreground are really silhouettes, and the bright orange sunset makes nice contrast with them. Simplistic yet very pleasant to look at. Gorgeous shot! Kind regards, László

Hi, Ron. A beautiful sunset over the Sea of Galilee. This is indeed an amazing body of water since it is fed by underground streams from the Jordan River. The warm colors of the sunset, reflections and the silhouetted trees makes this composition a beauty. Thanks for sharing.
