[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I shot this Moth on a really hot day last year in July. It was perched on a leaf among thick foliage.
Friend Luciano tells me it belongs to the genus Idaea. He seems to be correct. However, it is not easy to find its exact ID with certainty.
Thanks, all the same, Luciano!

Hello Ram,
A great shot of this beautifully marked moth. To me it has the appearance of being sprinkled with a light dusting of pepper:) Focus is sharp and colors are well saturated. Exposure looks good, especially under the challenging light you had to deal with.
I spent some time trying to identify this particular specimen, but couldn't come up with a positive ID. However while searching my guide books and the web I did manage to identify a moth I had photographed a few weeks ago which made my day!!
I do think this may be a type of (Geometer Moth) because of the way it rest with it's wings out to it's sides. Unfortunately this is a very very large family (over 35,000 species) and I almost became cross-eyed while looking at images on the internet;)

Hi Ram,very bright capture of this moth of genus "IDAEA". I don't know the exact name, this family is very large and rich,if you have a lot of time to spend you can find the exact ID on the web using its family name on a long research..ehehe...the quality is great like the POV and the sharpness.Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Hello Ram,
A very nice white colored moth specie. Sharp details and very good contrast against the green background.
