Une vue sur une Grande Aigrette(Ardea alba), elle fait partie de l'ordre des Pélécaniformes et à la famille des Ardéidés. La photo a été prise proche de l'île Sainte Thérèse à Verchères lors d'une sortie en ponton sur le fleuve Saint-Laurent.

A view of a Great Egret(Ardea alba), it is part of the Pelecaniformes order and of the Ardeidae family. The nphoto was taken near St.Therese îsland in Vercheres during a poonton trip pn the St.Lawrence river.

Salut Pierre,une tres jolie vue sur la grande aigrette et son habitat,les details sont excellents malgre' la distance,bien fait! Belle soiree' et merci,Luciano

Bonjour Pierre,
j'aime bien ce genre de foto avec une vue des alentours. Belle foto bienque l'aigrette soie un peu trop centrée à mon avis.

Hello Pierre,
I always like such natural habitat photograph. Nicely captured if we look at water surface and green grasses. Great Egret, unfortunately too small in the frame and you placed it just in the dead centre. I always prefer not to place just right in the heart; although not all time (smile). The back of the bird got overexposed but it's so far (even using 300mm) that it's not disturbing to my eyes. Overall quite well natural habitat presentation...
