[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This species of Jumping Spider can be seen pottering around on the terrace walls of my house during summer months. Today I noticed 2 of them. One was bigger and a bit lighter than the other. The smaller one was making advances towards the bigger one and was being chased and shooed away by the bigger one. Could it be the male of the species approaching the female for mating?
I have a set of Kenko extension tubes which I use sparingly since they tend to focus partially when I mount my 105mm lens on them. For shooting these spiders, I used one of the extension tubes today. The focus on the rear of the Spider has gone soft.

All of us know quite a bit about Jumping Spiders, so I'm not posting any notes on this one.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Ram,

My knowledge of spiders are limited, but here the head is totally superb.
Great detail and beautiful light, the DOF is not perfect but with the poor of clarity.
Colors and sharpness are good, good job.TFS.

Hi Ram,
just poped in and saw this fine picture of the Jumping spider.
Well handle with the fill-flash, it looks natural, not like a contrast flash photo, really nice to see.
Also DOF is good, the most important parts, eyes, head and front legs are in very good focus.
Well done, old friend.

hallo Ram

Hello Ram,
A wonderful macro shot of this fine looking jumping spider. Excellent detail of its front side with a cute look at its face. Those big eyes are what always captures my attention with these unique little spiders. Colors are well saturated yet natural and I like the way you composed the shot. Very nice presentation.

Ciao Ram, great macro of beautiful spider, perfect focus, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio
