|A perennial herbaceous plant. Stems and leaves are silky-hairy - hence the plant's name. Young flowers yellow, fading with age, as u can see in this picture.|
Onosma sericea is a common perennial of the Middle East and Caucasus arid mountains. In Israel it is very rare, occurring only in Mt Hermon.

Very nice photo of this plant in superb sharpness and details. Beautiful light and colors, nicely contrasting against the dark background. Fine composition too.
