|I have captured this picture of 'Pied Avocet' at Marievale Bird Sanctuary. It was bit cloudy day but got quite well light at the time of taking this picture. The color of the bird looks very nice but difficult to maintain proper exposure. But I was lucky Sunlight wasn't such harsh.|
It was a windy day and you can see waves on the water surface.
Pied Avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta) is a large black and white wader in the avocet and stilt family RECURVIROSTRA.
* Length - 41.9cm-45.1cm
* Colour - Striking white with bold black marking.
* Bill - Upturned; 7.5cm-8.5cm
* Wing Span - 76cm-80cm

Fantastic shot of this gorgeous Pied Avocet in a nice pose. The contrasting black and white plumage Is stunning to say the least. Super sharp focus revealing much detail and the exposure couldn't be any better. Awesome photo!!
