[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have captured this picture of 'White-Faced Whistling Duck' (Dendrocygna viduata) at Rondebult Bird Sanctuary which is hardly 10/15 minutes drive from our home. We reached early in the morning and noticed flock of this species were flying and plunging on the water bodies. I took this picture from a hide which is situated bit higher than water level. We were lucky, none were there that day and we used five hides nicely.

White-Faced Whistling Duck is a whistling duck that breeds in sub-Saharan Africa and South America. This species has a long grey bill, long head, and longish legs. It has white face and crown and black rear head.

This is gorgeous. Fantastic colors, exposure, sharpness, lights and most of all composition, I especially love the sharp moiree effect on the wings and the contrast between the vibrant colors of the duck and the dull blue of the water - beside the spectacular compo, of course. A photo to be proud of. Bravo.
