Heteroptera: Lygaeidae
Common name: Soldier bug

Spilostethus pandurus is a very common lygaeid 13-15mm long and easily spotted due to itrs conspicious red/black colour pattern. Hi Nikos, great macro of this lygaeidae, the choice of point of view from above is a winner, perfect to show us its nice red and black design, great sharpness everywhere,a top quality pic. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Very good POV, Nikos.
The image is sharp and colourful.

Hi Nikos,
This is a great macro, sharp enough with pleasant composition, but IMHO the color saturation should be increased a little. However, as I see pics of this species on the internet, it's not so colorful as I thought before so the saturation should be very light. :-)
Have a nice Christmas, kind regards from Ireland, László
