Chipping sparrow, common throughout North America wherever you can find trees mixed with open grassy areas. They like to feed on the ground, hide in the shrubs, and sing from the treetops. Often found in loose groups and easily attracted to backyards with feeders.

Hello Josh,
I like your little bright eyed Chipping Sparrow, we have them here in our area of Ohio. Captured in a lovely pose and displaying beautiful markings and natural colors. You did a nice job on the exposure, especially considering the harsh lighting you had to deal with.
