[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Come to think of it, despite our disdain for this bird as a scavenger, it is a handsome creature in its own way. We call it a House Crow in India because it is found in large numbers in human habitations including large cities.
I personally consider this bird as a friend of human kind since it takes care of a lot of refuse created by human beings.

Hello Mr. Thakur,

I completely agree with you when you say that this bird is in a way "a friend" of the Humans. You have captured the scavenger in its full glory, The catch light in its eye has been captured beautifully.

Warm Regards,

Hello Ram,
A great shot of this beautiful crow. Quite a bit of differance from the American Crow as far as color and markings. I posted a photo last summer of a similar looking crow that I saw in Israel, it was called a Hooded Crow. It had more black on it's head then this one of yours. Do you know if it is the same species of bird?
