[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had the pleasant experience of shooting a variety of winged insects in December 2016 on a wet spot on my school campus desite the cold weather. Some wild flowers kept blooming there until some mindless gardner pulled the plants off the ground and destroyed them.
One of those winged insects was this butterfly belonging to the Blues family (Pseudozizeeria maha maha Kollar, 1844) – Himalayan Pale Grass Blue. It is a sub-species of Pale Glass Blue native to Himalayan region. This one I captured is a male of the species. This is the dry season form of this species.

Hello Ram,
A very pretty species of butterfly from the family of Blues. Excellent focus and well saturated colors. Once again we see the top quality shots your compact camera is capable of producing.
Your gardener must not be a nature lover, otherwise he would have left the plants alone:( Great work!!
