A young Yucatan Jay at Yucatan peninsula of Mexico. After Cuba we went to Mexico. Birding and finding birds is kind of tough however i still enjoyed a lot the Mayan temples and some protected nature. But i didn't like the approach of the locals who usually tries to rip you off...
Until at least, i got some nice birds including this one. Quiet common at Tulum and Cancun area. |

Hello Emin,
What a gorgeous specimen you have presented to us. It appears to be a fairly large bird with bright powder blue coloring accented by a black head. The yellow eye ring immediately captures your attention. You could not have asked for a better pose and the detail is exceptional.

nice portrait, TFS Ori
Emin, this is an exceptionally exotic species of birds from Mexico and you have captured it from the best possible point of view.
Perfectly natural colours and excellent details.
Thanks.
