|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is the first Red Pierrot of the season I shot in school garden a few days ago. Very few of them are in view this year. In fact, it was the only one at the location.|
Talicada nyseus, the red Pierrot, is a small but striking butterfly found in the Indian subcontinent and South-East Asia belonging to the lycaenids, or blues family. The red Pierrots, often found perching on the Kalanchoe plant, are usually noticed due to their striking patterns and colors.

I love these colorful tiny butterflies form your country. The bright contrasting black, white and orange colors immediately captures your attention. I'm sure you were thrilled to see the first one of the season, I haven't seen many butterflies here in Ohio yet.
I have couple of shot of this species with my 18-135 mm..though only couple of those came out well. This shot is so detailed with naturally saturated color.
Thanks for sharing..
