|One of the very first birds I saw while in Tanzania was this colorful specimen. I didn't really know what the proper name of it was, but I figured from its features it had to be a type of starling.|
My first glimpse of one was in a parking lot when we made a brief stop to buy some groceries. I knew I somehow had to capture this bird with my camera. This shot was the final result after spending almost two weeks in Africa.

This is one of the most beautiful starling that I have seen till now; the color is so gorgeous that it's simply breathtaking. The details have come out wonderfully well from a nice POV.

Superb Starling picture! Beautiful colourful bird and you captured it very well. So many colours! I like its pose. Well DOF as well as sharpness. Unfortunately this bird is not here! Hope one day I'll capture too.
Thanks for sharing,
Ciao Ron, great capture of lovely bird in nice pose, fine details, fantastic colors and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
I am glad you meet such many species of birds in your trip to Africa.....This is another colorful specie with nice feathers.
The branches are framing well the bird. The point of view is showing the details of the Superb Starling. The good luminosity is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.
