Hi Trekkers,

My first shared photo shot with my brand-new Sony DSC HX400v camera. The place's called Nohoval Cove, and is one of the most hidden beauties of the coastline of the county, locating in the "secret triangle" between Cork, Kinsale and Crosshaven, a few kilometres from Nohaval village. There's a wonderful little bay here (see WS), with a short yet steep cliff walk to the top of the hills. Thankfully, Nohoval Cove is not a common tourist destination, you need local knowledge in order not to be lost in the maze of narrow farm roads, and the "car park" is limited to a few vehicles only. So, ideal for explorers like myself. :-)

Photo: taken in manual exposure mode, PP: moderate cropping, very slight level, color and contrast adjustment.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Laszlo, just a bit oversharpened in PP,but this is always a small problem that i have me too after the resizing. The camera works very well as i can see, this view from above is a pearl like tha place, with the colorful flowers as a special bonus. Very nice too the different POV in the WS,just a bit dark but taken in a difficult light. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Ciao Laszlo, great view of fantastic place, fascinating landscape, wonderful natural colors, excellent clarity and splendid light, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello László,
A real treasure Cove in my opinion. Such tranquility and beauty in all directions. Love the brightly colored flowers and huge boulders in the background. Nice to know places like this can still be found by those willing to search for them. Your new camera obviously is doing a great job for you.

A hidden gem of a location you have brought back for us, Laszlo. I would love to go there! Very well selected perspective that showcases the amazing beauty of this cove. The flowers in the foreground make this image very charming.
Sony HX series is great since I too own HX50V and have done some good work with it.

A True Beauty of a Gem… Love the lighting and detail...

Hello László

Great POV on this spectacular landscape, giving dynamism to the image,
and in the photo of the WS fine POV for a beautiful perspective, TFS
