[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A picture from my archives. Not all that sharp with 70-300mm in macro mode.
Talicada nyseus, the red Pierrot, is a small but striking butterfly found in the Indian subcontinent and South-East Asia belonging to the lycaenids, or blues family. The red Pierrots, often found perching on the Kalanchoe plant, are usually noticed due to their striking patterns and colors.

Hi Ram,not the best pic of your history but still good considering the diagonal perspective and the lens in macro mode too,i like the composition and the bright colors, but some detail is lost. Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano
A very colorful image of this butterfly among the pinks of the flower. The blurred area on the left of course detracts,as you say, but overall the image is very attractive.
