I was lucky to see this little drama early one morning near La Caridad in Spain while walking the Camino del Norte.Getting close was a problem.

Hi Steve,very nice scene,the butterfly is in danger so close to the spider,a great composition very sharp and bright. The butterfly is a Melanargia galathea,common in Italy too. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
