CLOUDED YELLOW
Colias croceus, clouded yellow, is a small butterfly of the family Pieridae, that is, the yellows and whites.
Colias croceus is one of the most-widespread species in Europe. The common clouded yellow's breeding range is North Africa and southern Europe and eastwards through Turkey into the Middle East but it occurs throughout much of Europe as a summer migrant, in good years individuals reaching Scandinavia. In Asia, its range extends into central Siberia in the north and barely into India in the south; it is not found in Central Asia. |

No doubt you have a big GUN but the ISO 1600 was not that necessory also Exposure: f/9.0, is OK but shutter speed 1/2500 seconds looks very high as this was not a Grandprix race. May I am not that expert, what was in your mind don't know but this could be done vertical by keeeping out the right flower, sorry it is my idea hence the rest may like this as it.
Beautiful colors.
Very nice clean shot.
Excelente captura!
Cores e BG Fantástico!

Hi Marius,a great capture of the clouded yellow, still in my fileds in these days and one of the last to disapppear, very bright colors and fine details too,in the classic pose over the medicago sativa, the prefered plants of butterflies. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
Hello Marius,
Perfect background. Perfect details and exposure. I would like to frame it bit tighter, although personal test. Good work.
