I have to agree that it is not a lesser cat and also love these guys. The image is sharp and I love the ears. You and Callie must keep at it, as we get great images while you are doing so!

I had not realised there was a clasiefication for lesser cats, i think that in some ways they are a lot more intresting as a lot of them are so secretive that not a lot is known about them.
this one is well seen too. notes work well with the link to previous full notes. keep them coming please.

Gerhard, This is wonderful shot of this "Grand" cat. It's great what a good telephoto can do as seen here. I look forward to the day I can get one & can explore its use. Maybe I can talk the old-lady into puttin' a word in to Santa this year! ;-)

Good shot! You've captured this really well, I really like the DOF and the exposure is spot on too. My only criticism is that it isn't quite as sharp as I'd like, I tried running some USM on it, but it still didn't really sharpen up all that well... Anyway, a nice image - thanks for sharing :-D

This is a very good shot of the rooikat. It clearly depicts the cats nature.

I agree, this guy has attitude, and he is prepared to deliver a coulpe of nasty slaps, should you overstep. As for howard, let him see a Schulster movie where the taxi picked-up the suitcase, he wil not have this request for a kitty.

Sleepy eyed and big eared, these cats always remind me of Yoda. Your background is interesting here - the pace seems to be a leisure one, but the blur of the background implies a bit of motion, though it is probably just shallow depth of field
