Barbary Ground Squirrel - Atlantoxerus getulus.
Taken at a viewpoint in the mountains on the road from Pajara to Betancuria in Fuerteventura. These squirrels are almost tame and approach humans looking for food.

Cute capture Rob, although the focus is a touch soft. My nanny has been raising a baby squirrel and I've posted him a couple of times here too.

Welcome to TrekNature!
