[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Rose Chafer (Cetonia sp.) - one of several similar species of subfamily Cetoninae (family Scarabeidae).

The members of the subfamily are remarkable by the fact that they have fixed elytra. The hind wings are spread sideways through the specially curved elytra margins (see on the picture). Larvae live in decaying wood and adults feed on flowers.

The species of Cetonia are very variable in terms of colours (oscillating from deep green, through gold, red to blue. This interesting two colour forms were captured on dwarf elderberry (Sambuccus ebulus L.) flowers.

You are talented also with close-up!

Once again sharp focus and perfect exposure. Good composition with a nice blured BG.
The soft light is perfect for those shinny subject. There is a beautiful texture on their shell. Great picture and TFS

This is a great macro shot. I really like the metallic colors and sharp detail in the insects. Perfect composition and framing. The backround really makes them stand out. Well done.

wow, this is a very difficult object, metallic bugs are not easy to make a sharp shot.
You made it excellent, the colours are pretty and I like to see the one from the side.
