Whananaki North, Northland, New Zealand

This is the view looking back from where I took yesterday’s photo.

Sea Temp. Celsius Today 17.6
Statistics for 16 Nov 1981-2005 - mean: 17.0 max: 18.4 min: 15.7

The sea surface temperature for Whananaki Beach has been derived from analysis of more than 20 years of satellite measurements. This has enabled them to calculate the average water temperature variation around the year as well as the extremes.

Northland Real Estate for sale:
I was looking for some interesting topics about Whananaki and came across this 435 hectares of Whananaki coastal bush block of land for sale up in this area. This isn’t the land that’s for sale – this is right on the beach at Whananaki North, and will be council owned – well I hope it is.

“Whananaki Coastal Bush Block Largest bush block privately owned in Northland. 4 km by road to Whananaki North beach. Can be subdivided, have had approval for 31 sections.
Land: 434.6324 hectares
Cost $4,000,000”

Yes, Four Million NZD will buy you this piece of land. Imagine, your own native bush right at your fingertips and the water at your feet. But looking at the photos on the land agent’s website, it is rather steep in places, and I’m not sure how much coast is involved. But if anyone wants to put a deposit down, just let me know. . .

4.000.000 NZ$ isn't very bad price for this piece of Paradise :-) WOnderfull picture! I love light and colours on it. It seems to be perfectly exposured - no too dark or too bright areas. And these colours...beautifull. It must be another magic place!

ps. Big thank you for postcards my friend! They riched us yesterday - what a beautifull beaches!!!

Hello Janice,
Excellent landscape !
Great POV and DOF, good pose, details and sharpness TFS:)

So much beauty in this land of yours Janice.

I love the exotic feel to your photo, and the stunning colors, water, lighting, and POV.

(Huge sigh...) I am just a little shy of the four million.

Could someone please lend me $3,999,998.00 ?

Another inspiring composition, TFS.

So you're into real estate development these days ;-) Very well done!
