[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the same Fungi as the previous, you can find info in that note.
I took this picture for the texture on the bottom of the mushroom.I know the left side is cut of, but i couldn't get it intirely on the picture, because i wanted a close up of the bottom.
i tried to crop just the texture, but i didn't like it that much.
I hope you like this one, all critiques, comments are welcome. |

A difficult task but I think you have made quite a good jod of it. Personally I think these types of fungi are very difficult to do. Good follow up to your previous post. Well done Kirsten.

dit is een prachtige macro Kirsten, u begrijpt dat ik niet mee kan doen met uw spel op TL.
Ja ek het vergeet dat die flanders soos afrikaans is. Kan jy my begryp Kirsten?
This looks like an maze. You chose a difficult subject. The shape makes the compo harder, the whites and blacks even more so. I think you wanted to partray the swirls of the texture, that you succeeded in doing. Nice one.

I agree with Paul that these are not easy to shoot, but you did an excellent job of it. The image is sharp and the exposure is well balance.
Thanks for posting
Kirsten, A most difficult subject as everyone has stated..You have succeeded in giving us the swirls & textures specific to this fungi. Did you tripod? Did you consider a smaller F stop? Maybe next time you could give more info. on what you did? TFS
Hey, the man on the horse......
Nice textures of this mushroom, colours are not fantastic, but that's because there are no fantastic colours:-)) Nice nature from the bottom.
