[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Bryophyllum tubiflorum Harvey - Chandelier plant
Family: Crassulaceae

Not only animals may be viviparous, there are also some plants that reproduce this way.

Most of them belong to the genus Bryophyllum (from the Greek bryo - sprout, and phyllon - leaf) occurring on Madagascar. The species you see on the picture (a tip of a leaf with sprouts) occurs in semi-desert conditions.

Nice macro close-up of this Chandelier plant with a great note. I'm glad I'm not viviparous. :)

Never saw such a plant before, but I like the picture that has a strong graphic aspect. Light is soft and the black BG is great here. Did you do any special PP? I can feel a very slight posterization effect in the small circle? Or is some kind of natural light reactioin due to the nature of the plant?
Still a very nice graphic image. TFS.

Simple composition but great visual effect. Bringing in attention the aspect photographer wants (and exposed in the note).

Czesc Michal!

No! :-)
I udało Ci sie kolejny raz zachwycić mnie zdjęciem. Fantastyczne!

Hi Michal
Great macro.
You did it very well, the background, the incredible sharpness thanks to the f/7.3...,
and the final effect itself.
Good work.

spodziewalem sie fotki jaszczurki albo czegos w tym typie...
Doskonala, "minimalistyczna" kompozycja. Nigdy by mi nie przyszlo do glowy, zeby wlasnie w ten sposob sfotografowac zyworodke...

An amazing and well captured composition, Michal!

I love the simplicity of the the black and green, FG and BG contrasts.

Details, colors, POV, and lighting are perfect.

Great job, thank you!

Hey, good idea, something green and fresh for a change, creative idea well executed. A bit more light from an angle might have provided a bit more of a 3D effect, but then again as is, it has a more graphical effect.
High impact!
