[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This "Terrapin",(thanks Callie) I rescued from certain death by car/bakkie.

A stream was running across a gravel road, with a large pond right next to the road. This stuntman was lazily enjoying the shallow waters and the sun, when I spotted him, right in the way of the traffic. I stopped in the stream, took a few shots from the vehicle, and them ventured into dangerous territory by getting out to move him. As result I got a face full of water as he was trying to get away.

Nice shot Riaan. I like these critters and they frequent the pools all over. There are some bright spots but it's a minor nit. Well done.

Very nice Riaan.
Good colours and nice composition.
Agree with Gerhard abnout the spot, but it's still a good picture.
Well done.

Riaan, Good diagonal presentation of your subject with good detail. Was it worth the wake-up splash? ;-)

The aquatic turtles have always attracted me and mainly when it is a species unknown by my until the moment.
Good composition with pleasant POV in diagonal and good sharpness with a wonderful colorful one.
I agree with other critics on the existence of some reflection, but the quality of the image is not inferior.

Gestapo Helment, for the stuntman, Riaan.
Nice compo on the diagonal, half submerged too. You must not put them in your car, they will "stink" you right out of it.
