[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is Pyramid Lake, located just up from the town of Jasper in Jasper National Park. The shot is taken just down from the hotel that is located right on the lake. It was taken in the morning when the lake, like most, is calm. (No power boats are allowed on the lake, but the wind often picks up in the afternoon).
This is a straight scenery shot taken with my HP P&S. Postprocessing consisted of raising the contrast and saturation, although I do that with everything out of that camera. Full frame. |

Ah! If just could have the left peak (and its reflection) in the frame! The scenery looks great there. Your photo looks great (except for the think I allready mentioned, it's such a pitty!)
Regards, Petru
Hi Mike
What a wonderful shot. It has a very tranquil atmosphere, and the reflection is awesome. Nice work. Thanks.

Exclusive composition! You have an outstanding feeling for the right choosing of the POV. But I think it is a common feature of HP cameras to overcontrast the photos.
