Again a pair of snowy egret and white ibis.

However, this time it’s the ibis’ turn: the snowy egret runs around hopping through the shallow water to flush out any fish (he does that when hunting alone too) and the ibis is hopeful that something will swim in the right direction.

Technical: Unfortunately the whites are a bit OE.

This is a wonderful capture of action between two competing species. Great color and contrast.

Hi Gabi,
Very beautiful! Looks like the bird is high-stepping...;-)
I took a picture or two of waders at the zoo today. If our wader pictures were rated on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best and 1 being the worst, yours would consistently be at and near the 10 while mine at the 1...;-(
Anyhow, you set a beautiful standard for this new guy to aspire too!
Thanks,
Dave

Another superb shot from your now-famous series, Gabi. : )
The poses and relative position of these two birds are wonderful,
and the details on them are super sharp. It is fascinating to me to observe the variation of colors and shapes in the beaks and feet of these two wading birds. Just fantastic. TFS. : )

Beautiful shot. I like the sculptured appearance of the wings. Looks like he is dancing.

Hi Gabi

Very well done. Great POV. Good colour. Sharpness and clarity are spot on showing good detail. Shame some parts are OE, but thats the problem with white plumage. Good job. Thanks.

Another good capture Gabi with good details and colour. I would be tempted to go for a vertical shot here because of the reflection. Nice work.

Hello Gabi, Excellent action shot with great sharpness. A wonderful interplay captured as you've stopped the action very well...If the whites are a bit OE, they are off by a tiny amount. I like to say "sometimes white is just white"! Hey, there's enough of us armchair critic's out here..we'll let ya know :-) Very well done. Thank you!

Hi Gabi,
I have to say this one is my favorite of the series for the superb action you caught. Frozen perfectly! Two beautiful birds. Still trying to figure out if I could sneak back down there this spring during mating season. Would love to catch these birds in their mating plumage.
