This is very impressive for the reasons you state - these awesome bears and the fall colors. A pity that mama is looking away from the camera, but in situations like this you can't hang around. Were you on foot? In a car?
Perhaps it needs a little sharpening.

Nice shot especially hand held with a tight zoom. Wow. I've tried lots of shots like this but not so sharp. Colors are wonderful.

Hey Paul,
I think it is a good shot indeed. The colors in the scene make up for the loss of detail, with a tripod, would have been excellence....

Great fall colors set with the bears! Denali Park is my stomping grounds so I definitley appreciate a nice image of the outstanding fall foliage and throw in bear family eating berries and you've got a winning photo.

This is a great shot. I love the autumn colors. My gf and I have just been to Denali (in May/June) and the colors you captured weren't there yet.
