[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The few watercourses that manage to cross the Sonoran Desert having a permanent water flow are the most important think for all wildlife triving in the harsh desert condition. This is a reliable source of water and cca 85% of desert species are aglomerating on the sides of these rivers to form what's called the Riparian area ecosystem.
For me it was a sudden cross from almost barren land into a jungle. May flowers, birds, insects and reptiles were enjoyng some humidity under the quite dense tree and bushes paks along this river.
By the way this is Verde River, wich togheter with Salt River are the most important watercourses to cross Northen and central Arizona Desert.

Hello Petru...
Beautiful landscape! I like your low POV giving prominance to the rocks in front as an important part of the composition... The contrast between the illuminated mountains and the shady forest works fine... Good colours & details

Hi Petru!

Absolutelly fantastic place and photo! I love composition - sky, red mountains and then stones and water in heart of desert. I wonder it was great trip for you! Picture like from dreams!

Hi Petru,

Great POV. Damn those birds leaving all there marks on the stones. :-) Its a petty that the picture has some noise. A simple noice reduction will do.

TFS, Niek

Petru, a very nice composition with great colors.

The low angle works very well here.

Besides, great sharpness and colors.

Hi Petru,
great landscape with rich colours. Delightful mirroring of the sky beween the rocks in the foreground. Low point of view perfectly adds to the depth and the drama. Details a bit soft, but good for a picture that has obviously been scanned. 3D-border around the picture is a bit distracting to me.
A great shot! I love Sonora desert. Very interesting notes. Thank you for sharing!

Very interesting notes to read Petru, thank you.
This is a strange landscape, well composed and sharp details and colours. Well done, tfs,

Great landscape Petru. Colorfull with very good sharpness and very good details. This is a very nice composition. Very good job. WEll done. Thank you.

Great landscape shot Petru. I like the composition with the watercourse well seen in the FG, and barren desert hills beyond. You can tell this river is a major attraction to the local birds, by the evidence they leave behind! ;-) Well done. Thank you!

Wonderful landscape, Petru! I see that there are many birds on this place, because of the white on the rocks. Very nice place, well captured from a nice pov!
